Language Experience at it's best

Learning in Room A this term has been really hands on, nad exciting for the students.  This has really made an impact on the boys in my class, and it also links to our wider community, and way of life for our local families, (PTC03) and (PTC10)

Exploring river life, and what makes a healthy river

We were fortunate enough to to the the National Trout Hatchery in Turangi.  As I am still a PRT, someone kindly supported me with this trip.  This all happened out of the blue, so there was some quick organising.  The students were in awe of the place, and for many of them seeing a trout in reality was an extra precious moment they can remember.  The eels were also a delight for them, as not many had seen eels close up.  It will be a day to remember for these students.  I am so thankful that I was given this opportunity to give these students some real life experience.
